An Evening Out with Grandma

This is so not a great picture of me but I was really happy to have a picture of  my mom and my grandma; 3 generations.  I love living so close to my grandma and I am grateful for every moment that I get to spend with her.  I know that she won't be here forever.  She is 89 years old but doing pretty well.  Thank goodness for Vicky, my down-syndrome aunt.  She lives with my grandma and takes great care of her.
I also love it when my mom is in town.  The older I get the more that I hate that I don't live closer to my mom.  We have always been very close and I wish that I could just drive over to her house for a talk or go to lunch once a week.  I wish my kids could have sleepovers at "grandmas and grandpas", or help grandpa mow the lawn.  But, I am always happy to see her when I can and spend some time with her.  I love my mom.

It was so fun to see your Grandma. I remember her and Vicky well. I remember her cute Norwegian accent (at least I hope I remember it right)
It is good to know that Vicky is doing well. Do they still live in SLC? I think I went to her house a few times with you. I was even at a family reunion with you.

It was so fun to come see you and your life. Even if it was only for 30 minutes. You looks great and your kids are so cute. I love you beautiful home. You were always so much fun and I am greatful you were my friend. Next time I come to SLC we will do lunch!!!!

So actually that picture is FOUR Generations! It's rare when all the people in the picture look good, but everyone looks cute. You and mom especially. Miss you, Mel! Love you!

Love all the updates. Love Alta's shoe of choice - what a little nut.
