Every year I tell myself we aren't going to Disneyland with the rest of the world that decides that August is the best time of year to go. And every year, I find myself there anyway. The kids absolutely love it so that makes up for the long lines. I think that the stress on the economy has put a little damper on the amount of people that head to California. It was still pretty busy but not like it has been in the past. It was extremely warm in the morning and going through "hell" on the Toad's Wild Ride didn't help the heat much. Thank goodness for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and it's air conditioning. Rather than tell all 4 families and my parents (Sean and his family weren't able to attend the family trip this year) that they all had to go to Disneyland, we left it open for whoever wanted to go. Turns out that only Kristine and us wanted to go this year.

Kaitlynn, 6 months, is such a happy baby. She weathered Disneyland great and never made a sound except to smile. This is Kristine's 2nd baby and we love her so much.

Alta adores her cousin Olivia and is always so happy to see her. They have lots of interests in common and get along great. We are sad that Olivia has finally learned to say Alta's name correctly. We were very fond of 'Tata".

When we asked Alta who she wanted to see at Disneyland, Flounder always came first next to "The little Merdaid". Here, she has seen them both!
