Every year, my family meets to go on vacation together. For the last 3 years we have gone to California. I tell Erik all the time, if it wasn't for the traffic and the cost of living, I could live here. I LOVE the beach. I love the sea air, watching the waves and the weather. Markus was so excited to see dolphins swimming not to far from the pier we were walking on.
I love my parents. They raised all 5 of us kids and suffer through us five, our spouses and kids every summer. They LOVE it!!!
Libby can't wait to meet up with her cousin Lexi. And yes, they are always ready for a pose. I keep telling Libby that she must be part Indian. Look at her tan. This is our first day at the beach and she looks like she lives there!
Libby's uncle Barry taught her how to ride the waves. She was sooo excited to have caught her first one!

So this is where you have been. Vacationing in California. It looks like a ton of fun! Too many people in California and they have the nerve to crowd all the tourist spots.
