T-Ball time

Markus was sooo excited to start T-Ball.  The day of his first game, Erik took him to the store and bought him new baseball pants, new baseball cleats ( that can function also as soccer cleats) and special T-Ball sunglasses.  It is 95 degrees outside and Markus is the only one in black baseball pants, but he wouldn't have it any other way.  His little team is hilarious.  It is just a beginning T-Ball league and so they hit, run to first only and then wait for their team mate to hit and then run to second.  Most of the time they forget to run to second, they are so excited that they made it to first.  Adults end up yelling, RUN, RUN!!!  It really is comical.
This is at his first game.  Erik made sure that Markus had the stance and the hitting poses correct.  We have been practicing for weeks.  2 weeks later, Markus doesn't need the tee anymore, he has advanced to coach pitch.  He is so proud of himself.

T-ball is so fun. The kids are hilarious! Markus is cute but look at your husband in the background. Now that is funny.

So what was your answer to Markus? That we've lived near eachother for so long that we couldn't possibly part with eachother now and that you're moving to Michigan too? I think that's a fabulous idea! I try not to think about the negatives of moving too much, especially since the only big fat downside to moving is not having you close. I'll be good at this blogging crap so that I can feel like you're still a part of our life. Hey thanks for coming on Friday, it meant alot to us to have you there. I love you long time!

So cute Mel. I heard that you may be coming down to AZ in October. Is this true? Lets make a plan to get together.

So cute, Mel! T-ball cracks me up, I love it! Watching everything else the kids are doing beside actually playing the game is my favorite part. Last summer my (then) four year old was totally into throwing dirt into the air the whole time he was in the field! :)
