Nothing could be better than cousins and shopping!!

Erik's sister and her family were in town from Denver a couple of weeks ago. They bought a new house and were inbetween houses at the time so they were passing the time by spending some of it in Utah. We love having them here and the kids love spending time with cousins. Alta and Scarlet are just 3 weeks apart and they are great friends. They were supposed to be due on the same day but thanks to the high blood pressure, Alta was born first. It is so fun to see how similar the two girls are and how so different they are too.

At the mall there is a little dinosaur park for the kids to play around. We took every chance to entertain them. Of course, Alta was hamming up this picture for me.
The mall even has a carousel in it which is usually a must if I take the kids there. I am the worst mom in the world if I forget to bring cash with me.
Markus, Libby, Scarlet, Torsten and Alta. Alta loves baby "toosten". She still asks where he is two weeks after they have left. He is definitely Norwegian. Not just because of his big head, blonde hair and fair skin.....hmmmm. We love his big head, he is such a cutie.

Scarlet was too busy trying to drive that dang car out of the mall then to smile for a picture for me.

Mel, you are so nice! Thank you for all the compliments posted yesterday! That made me feel so good. You better look me up, maybe we could have everyone over for a lunch at my house. That way to could see lots of people in a short time! Happy Sabbath day!

Also, notice you have the pickpalate blog on your favorites. How do you know Jenny Flake. She is my friend in my ward. Isn't she great.

I totally cracked up when I read your comment. I haven't thought of our trip to Pinetop in years. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I did a really dumb thing, but I have never forgotten to check the temp gauge since.
