I can't believe that my little girl is almost 8 years old. She has been talking about her baptism since she could talk. Tonight was her interview with the bishop. Bless her heart, she was a little nervous. Erik and I each spent some time with her a couple of evenings before her interview talking about some of the things that the bishop would ask her. We wanted to make sure she was prepared and plus it was fun to talk about these things with her. Of course, we had some issues that day with lying. Libby is a smart one and I have sometimes had a hard time reasoning with her because her little 7 year old body has the brain of a 15 year old sometimes. She tried to tell me that lying was just what she was and she couldn't help it. We held in our chuckles, of course, and took the opportunity to explain how this was something that she couldn't do after she was baptized. It was perfect timing. I love this little girl and love that she is growing up. She is so much like me in so many ways and this isn't always good. :) She loves to just be with mommy and read me stories she has written , tell me about her day, ask me why she can't have an older sister like she wants, put Alta in time-out, share her ipod with me and the best.... she loves to just lay on the couch with me and snuggle. I love this little girl.

She is darling. It is big step getting baptised. She even looks alot like you did when you were little. You are great parents raising your children in the gospel.
What a cute girl you have. She does seem older than 8. How great that she has preparing for the special day.
