This was one of those nights that you thought you looked good until you looked at the pictures you took! Argh!!! But it was the only one of the two of us so, here I am. Erik has been in an excelerated nursing class at the University of Utah and has been terribly busy for the last 14 months. He hated to tell the kids that he couldn't take them swimming because he had to study, or no he couldn't take them to the movies because he had to write a paper.......but that is all over!!! The kids and I are so happy to have Erik back. He had to cram 2 years of classes into 14 months and we are so proud of him for completely his 2nd bachelors degree. He got straight A's through all this. He has quit the Emergency Room where he has worked for the past 3 years and will now work in the Thoracic ICU department. This is a tough ICU to work in because his patients are extremely sick. These are patients who have undergone any procedures on their heart or lungs. It will definitely keep him on his toes but he is up for the challenge. We are sooo proud of him!

Way to go Erik! Straight A's that is impressive. Life is going to be so sweet now that life can be more normal. Are you going to cut back hours or quit?
WOW!! Congratulations ERIK, and Melanie! What an accomplishment! If I was sick I would want Erik to take care of me, Erik, you are good at making people feel comfortable and positive. Good job!
