This is Erik's dream!!! There are a few things that he has envisioned for his kids, this 4 wheeler being top on his list. And Markus loves it. I have worried about getting 4 wheelers, not because of the danger, but because of time. We are so busy with our new house, work and trying to get Erik through the last 8 weeks of school. But after seeing Markus ride that machine with his dad proudly standing on the sidelines, it was all worth it.

This is supposed to be a soccer field in my front yard, but they have yet to complete it so for a couple of days it was the Indy 500 race track. Markus would ride around in circles for hours. Erik grew up where he could ride his motorbike out the back door. This is as close as we get to that while living in the city. 2 days later, they neighborhood landscapers came by and fenced off the entire area. Erik is convinced that it was because of us. Who knows. But it was fun while it lasted. Now it is a little more difficult to get Markus to his riding destination. The streets in our neighborhood work OK, but I get extrememly nervous. Markus isn't very cautious and tends to be looking behing him and beside him rather than at what is directly in front of him.

Even Alta got to join in on the fun. She is pretty brave and loves it when I take her for rides. She can't wait till this little one becomes hers.
