It is so much fun to live in Utah and see the changing of the seasons. I love to see the snow....the first time it snows..... and then I have had it after that. Utah is not know for it's great drivers and the snow or even the threat of snow leads to extra mayhem. But, kids always love the snow. They love to eat, throw, make snow angels, sled and pee in the snow. I am more of a fair weathered person and tend to want to sit by the fire rather than brave the elements. We moved into a new house in December and we have a huge soccer field right out our front door. In the winter time, the soccer field is transformed into the neighborhood sledding hill. My kids had so much time sledding with all their new friends. Libby even managed to pose for us in the snow.

I feel honored to be the first person to leave a message on your blog. Hurray! Now I can keep up with your family, too. I am so glad we are in contact again. Living in the snow looks dreamy, but truly having to deal with all the wet snow clothes and being cold might be a little much. Just like summer heat is ALOT much. You are great, your kids are cute. Love ya, jill
Way to start a blog Mel, I was so excited to get your e-mail and to know that I will be able to peak in and stay updated better on the Engen family. I would love to catch up in person, someday. If you ever make it down to sunny AZ please call. For the time, blogging will do.
Now this is a great day!! Melanie Knight lives and I get to keep up on it. Mel, you are a rock star! Ask Melissa (as seen above) for any advice on leaving comments. She knows what's up!!!
